The Pelican Club

55 St Mary's Pl, Nottingham NG1 1PH, UK – 0115 924 2932

The Pelican Club is one of the few restaurants that serves my favourite seafood dish - monkfish, and it was beautifully cooked. My wife and I visited on our anniversary and were impressed by both the food and atmosphere. It can get very busy though so I would recommend booking in advance. Music was fantastic too.

Amazing atmosphere, love it here. Drinks can be a bit expensive but they're well worth it. As long as you keep that in mind it's a fantastic place to go.

Golf Clubs

Wollaton Park Golf Club

Lime Tree Ave, Nottingham NG8 1BT, UK – 0115 978 7574

Fabulous parkland course. Generous fairways, pristine condition throughout the year, a must play venue for any golfer looking for an enjoyable experience. Forget all the overpriced and hyped up average courses, play Wollaton Park and see what you have missed.

1st time playing the course today in a Taskers plate match quality course and great member. I would Definitely recommend this for a visit

The Lost City Adventure Golf

the corner house, Burton St, Nottingham NG1 4DB, UK – 0115 985 9455

A fantastic opportunity to play some indoor mini golf. The attention to detail is outstanding. Two 18 hole courses and a bar. The bar is set in a jungle hind out above the courses below. This is a great place for all ages and the staff are very welcoming. Get yourself down there. My pictures don't give it justice, you will have to go and see it for yourself.

Went with the wife and played both holes. Brilliant place, some easy holes and some buggers of holes. Lighting very effective at throwing you off a bit hiding some of the uneven parts of holes. Nice looking bar upstairs but was there in the morning so can't comment on price or quality. Great for a some time out with friends of family!

Nottingham Uni sport and social club

Beeston Ln, Nottingham NG7 2QA, UK – 0115 846 8541

This place used to be a decent place but I believe it has gone downhill over the past few years - rarely any entertainment but still worth a visit every now and again (once in a blue moon) for the odd one or two pints.

Hired for a friends birthday. Good venue and friendly staff.

Riley`s Sports Bar Nottingham

17A St James's St, Nottingham NG1 6FH, UK – 0115 947 0620

Dingy. Run down. Dark. Bad beer. Pool tables. Snooker tables. Exactly what we were looking for. 👍

So I walked in and I immediately felt welcomed by Katie, working front of house. I asked to put the f1 on, and she did. I got cooked an absolutely bang on burger and chips.the facility’s and the staff here is what you want from a Sports bar. Very comfortable and very impressed

Cobra Judo Club - Brocklehigh Arts and Sports Centre

Beechdale Road, Nottingham NG8 3AE, UK – 070 0349 6051

Small friendly Judo club. REALLY great to introduce kids to the sport. The coaches are really passionate about seeing the kids develop and grow - not pushy; very encouraging.

Great skill in teaching children.
